Two of my most favorite things: Roses and Lace. I've said before on the subject of both that I can't have a room without them. Lace creates detail and old world elegance, and roses bring the soft side of nature indoors. Whether a rose is painted on a canvas, sewn with ribbon, delicately applied to porcelain, or standing in a vase it is naturally graceful and coupled with a little lace becomes utterly romantic.
